Since the end of 2022, pharmacists’ competencies have been expanded to include the administration of vaccines against 14 infectious diseases.

Depending on their involvement in patient care, the pharmacist can use:

the decision support tool accessible via Mentor for verifying the patient’s eligibility for vaccination.
the digital vaccination record to ensure the traceability of the administered vaccines, collaboration with the treating physician, and maintenance of the relationship with the patient for the follow-up of their subsequent vaccinations.

The URPS Pharmacists Auvergne Rhône Alpes finances access to the CVN for all pharmacies in the region from 2023 to 2025.
